Active Ingredients and Mechanism

Fipronil (61 mg/ml) : An insecticide and acaricide that works by interfering with the parasite's nervous system, leading to paralysis and death .

Indications

Fleas:

Ticks:

One treatment provides persistent acaricidal efficacy against tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor reticulatus, and Rhipicephalus sanguineus) for four weeks .
If ticks are present at the time of application, they may not all be killed within 48 hours but will be killed within a week .
The treatment indirectly reduces, for 4 weeks after application, the risk of transmission of diseases transmitted by infected ticks (such as canine babesiosis) .

Sandflies and Mosquitoes:

One treatment provides repellent activity (anti-feeding) against sandflies (Phlebotomus perniciosus) and mosquitoes (Culex pipiens, Aedes aegypti) for four weeks .

Application Instructions

Dosage:

For dogs weighing 20-40 kg: Use one pipette of the 20-40 kg presentation .
Apply monthly, with at least 4 weeks between treatments .

How to Apply :

Hold the pipette upright. Tap the narrow part of the pipette to ensure the contents settle within the wide part.
Break the seal at the top of the pipette along the marked line.
Part the dog's coat until the skin is visible, starting from the area between the shoulder blades.
Place the tip of the pipette directly against the uncovered skin and gently squeeze to empty the contents.
For dogs over 20 kg, apply the solution evenly in 2-4 spots along the dog's back, from the shoulder to the tail base .
Ensure the product is applied to the skin, not superficially on the hair .

Important Application Notes:

Avoid bathing or water immersion for 48 hours after application .
Care should be taken to avoid excessive moistening of the hair, as this will cause a sticky appearance that disappears within 24 hours .
White deposits may be present at the application site for up to 48 hours .

Safety Information and Precautions

Contraindications :

DO NOT USE IN CATS OR RABBITS - Permethrin is extremely toxic to cats and can be fatal .
Do not use in puppies under 8 weeks of age or weighing less than 1.5-3 kg .
Do not use on sick (systemic diseases, fever) or convalescing animals .
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances or excipients .

Precautions for Use :

Keep treated dogs away from cats until the application site is completely dry.
Avoid contact with the dog's eyes and mouth. If accidental eye contact occurs, wash immediately with plenty of water.
Do not allow dogs to lick each other after treatment.
Consult a veterinarian before use on medicated, debilitated, aged, pregnant, or nursing dogs.
Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke while handling.
People with hypersensitivity to the components should avoid contact.
It is recommended to treat at night to minimize contact for the next 12 hours .

Environmental Precautions :

May adversely affect aquatic organisms - treated dogs should not bathe in waterways for two days after application.
Do not contaminate ponds, canals, or ditches.
May affect surfaces and finishes in home interiors.
