Description
Virbac Sebolytic Shampoo is a unique cleansing shampoo specifically formulated for dogs and cats with skin problems . It is designed to aid in the management of keratoseborrhoeic conditions - which includes scaly, dry, flaky, or greasy (oily) skin .
The shampoo works by removing scales, crusts, and excessive oil (sebum) from the skin surface, while also helping to regulate sebum production and control unpleasant skin odour .

Active Ingredients (Composition)
The formula includes a combination of active ingredients :

Salicylic acid (or Sodium Salicylate): For exfoliation and scale removal.

Zinc gluconate & Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine HCL): To help regulate sebum (oil) production.

Piroctone olamine: Helps manage secondary infections.

Linoleic and gamma-linolenic acids: Fatty acids that help regulate the keratinisation process and support skin health.

Tea tree oil: For soothing and antimicrobial properties.

Glycotechnology & Defensin technology: For skin vitality and microbial balance.
Directions for Use

Apply a sufficient amount of shampoo and massage into the wet coat to create a lather .

Rinse thoroughly.

Repeat the application and allow the shampoo to remain on the coat for 5 to 10 minutes (contact time) .

Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Use 2-3 times weekly for 3 weeks or as advised by your veterinary surgeon .

For long-haired breeds with severe conditions, clipping may be recommended prior to shampooing .
