What is FiproCare?

An antiparasitic spray for dogs and cats manufactured by Forvet, combining a chemical active ingredient with botanical extracts to treat and prevent external parasites.

Active Ingredients (per 1 ml)

• Fipronil (0.28%): The primary chemical agent for killing parasites.

• Mixture of antiparasitic phytochemical extracts: Plant-based compounds that aid in repelling or combating parasites.

Indications

Effective for the treatment and prevention of all life stages of:

• Ticks

• Fleas

• Lice

Residual Protection Duration

• Ticks: 1 month (3–5 weeks).

• Fleas: 2 months (1–3 months), depending on the environmental parasite challenge.

Application Instructions

1. Preparation: Ruffle the animal's coat to expose the skin.

2. Positioning: Hold the bottle upright.

3. Distance: Spray from 10–20 cm above the body.

4. Direction: Spray against the direction of hair growth to ensure the coat is wetted down to the skin.

5. Coverage: Apply to the entire body, concentrating on affected areas.

6. Drying: Allow the animal to air dry in a well-ventilated area. Do not towel dry.

Dosage: How Much to Apply

To ensure the coat is wet down to the skin, use the following rates based on coat length:

• Short-haired animals (hair < 1.5 cm):

  • Minimum volume: 2.5 ml per kg of body weight.

  • Pump actions: 5 pumps per kg.

  • (Each trigger click delivers 0.5 ml)

• Long-haired animals (hair > 1.5 cm):

  • Minimum volume: 5 ml per kg of body weight.

  • Pump actions: 10 pumps per kg.

  • (Each trigger click delivers 0.5 ml)

Storage & Safety

• Storage: Store below 30°C in a dark place.

• Precautions: Protect from heat and open flame. Keep out of reach of children.
