EFFITIX is a topical spot-on solution manufactured by Virbac, designed for very large dogs weighing between 40 kg and 60 kg . This veterinary medicine combines two active ingredients—fipronil and permethrin—to provide broad-spectrum protection against external parasites, including fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, and sandflies . Dosage and Administration
Dosage: One 6.0 ml pipette per dog weighing between 40 kg and 60 kg .

Remove the pipette from its packaging.

Hold the pipette upright. Tap the narrow part to ensure the contents settle in the wide part.

Break the seal at the top of the pipette along the marked line.

Part the dog's coat until the skin is visible.

For dogs over 20 kg (including the 40-60 kg range), apply the solution evenly in 2 to 4 spots along the dog's back, starting from the area between the shoulder blades to the base of the tail.

Place the tip of the pipette directly against the uncovered skin and gently squeeze several times to empty the entire contents.
Important Notes:

Avoid bathing or water immersion for 2 days after application .

Care should be taken to avoid excessive moistening of the hair, which may cause a sticky appearance that disappears within 24 hours.

Weekly bathing may reduce the duration of flea protection to approximately 5 weeks .
Safety Information

Do not use in puppies under 12 weeks of age or weighing less than 1.5 kg.

Do not use on sick (systemic diseases, fever) or convalescing animals.

Do not use on cats or rabbits — permethrin is highly toxic to cats and can be fatal .

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances or excipients.

Avoid contact with the animal's eyes. If accidental eye contact occurs, flush immediately with plenty of water.

Apply to an area where the animal cannot lick it off, and ensure animals do not lick each other following treatment.

Keep treated dogs away from cats until the application site is completely dry.

Dogs should not be allowed to swim in watercourses for 2 days after application.

To reduce re-infestation, treat all animals living in the same household with an appropriate product.

May cause mucous membrane, skin, and eye irritation.

People with known hypersensitivity to insecticides or alcohol should avoid contact.

Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling.

Do not smoke, drink, or eat during application.

Treated animals should not be handled until the application site is dry. Children should not play with treated animals until the site is dry.

It is recommended to treat in the evening to minimize contact for the next 12 hours.

May adversely affect aquatic organisms. Dogs should not be allowed to swim in watercourses for 2 days after application.
